Find out how to get to safe mode from boot. On my HP, I just hit F10 and the DOS window pops up asking me how I want Windows to start. I'm not sure if this would be safe, but have you considered unplugging your computer while it is on to force it to boot into safe mode (thinking there was an electrical failure)...?

Start Menu>Run>MSConfig>Boot.ini>SafeBoot.

That will b safer.

your screen can't handle the resolution.

Connect your screen to a monitor that 'can' handle whatever resolution u set it to and you're done.

well.... the problem is i only have one monitor...plus i know how to get into safe mode.
