Help! Program Can't Locate CD-Key

I bought a legit version of Frozen Throne, and managed to install it over a ripped copy of Reign of Chaos. I used the instructions given on this forum, which required me to change a few things around in the Registry.

But even though I installed it completely successfully, Frozen Throne won't work? When try to launch it, it gives me this error message:

"Warcraft III was unable to find a CD Key. Please reinstall the game from the Warcraft III CD."

Any ideas? Can I somehow manually plug in a valid RoC key into the Registry? (I do have one). I tried all sorts of No-CD cracks, and patches, but to no avail.

Sadly, WC3 doesn't hold the CD Key in the registry. It actually holds it in a file that no one knows, except bliz of course. I would suggest reinstalling ROC and then Installing TFT over that "clean" copy.

I would do what Aragorn7 said, just try and re-install all of it over a clean copy. That's the best I can offer you in advice. Hope it works...
