um..i never sdaid noobs were the bane of my existance....i just said that ive seen a lot of em lately.. and i do answer questions and give em stuff i dont need..im naicer to em than most ppl i see on b-net...

I am a d2 vet, there are those that have played longer than i have, but not to many. i try to help people as much as i can, but when it comes to newbs that spam the screen saying give me free items, /squelch. Done deal.

you shouldn't get so mad at all n00bs. For instance when I first got D2 I played single player, because I had dial-up, and I didn't want have be tie up the phones whenever I wanted to play, but I didn't play on open b.net because I was afraid it would end up with nothing but cheaters and stuff, like in D1. I had 1 character for each class, and 4 of them were 50+, while the others were 24+. Then I finally gave D2 up when FFXI came out. I kinda gave up on that and now have managed to return to D2, and there has been a new patch and new items, runewords, synergies, and whatever, plus since now I have cable internet, I decided to create closed b.net characters, and I am now a n00b because I don't know all the online lingo and stratagies, lickily I have met a few cool people and stuff who help me out in my ad adventuring. I'm starting to get up to speed but I still fall short when it comes to all the abbreviations ^^;

What realm do you play on? I might be able to help you. See, you're a noob, but you don't spam a game for free items. Or spam ''PPPPPPP'' or anything like that. It's really annoying when people do that in a baal game, combinded with bot spam, can really lag my computer hard. So yea, if you're on UsWest Non Ladder I can hook you up.

good point matter..bots r pissing me off to no end....i hate how they randomely wisper u and come into gamess..ive had one that didnt leave..squelched for sure..but there so annoying..and then e-baying noobs...they make me mad..only ones who i dont like..

very funny..when i was a newb in d2c i used to try to get ppl to paerty up in a diablo game when i was only like v1v 7..they never did though..i thought i would be able to win the game by doing that..i was a newb for like 1.5 years..im a slow learner and i understand newbs

hes stil total newb at warcraft i beat him 1vs1 in about 3 minutes

There are differences between n00bs and newbies.

Newbies are simply people who are new to the game and need a little direction. Most of them are nice and accept any help they can get and appreciate it.

Then there are n00bs. N00bs always beg for frees, as opposed to working their way up to getting items. They act ignorant, and often refer to others as "n00bs" because they don't know something. The majority of n00bs haven't even played .09 and they think that they "pwn" d2.

I help newbies (to the best of my extent, i'm not exactly wealthy). I don't help n00bs.

That's exactly what I do. I actually like talking to new players. Makes me happy to help them out. Give them some hand-me-down items that I won't use anymore, but to them, it's great, they feel good that someone helps them out. Everyone who plays often should help out the new guys/gals.
