No, it wouldn't work. You can NOT make a runeword in anything that isn't normal, superior, cracked, or low quality.

I tried it with Wealth once, when I was a real newbie. But hey, it was a Lem Ko Tir Girswold Armor, and then it was my most prized item. Course, I gave those away once they became ridiculously common.

No it wouldn't. Artisan's Archon Plate of the Whale Enigma would be "D SHIZNIT."

You could probably do something like this on a Mod or something though. Anyone ever tried that? Since I am temporarly out of Diablo II, for the meantime anyways, someone should try it in a Mod for Diablo II and see if it works. That way you can mess around and make some funky but rather interesting items.

you can do it on chaos empire mod. really good mod, new lvls mobs and items/sets.

i made a runeword in wirts leg once..i was really bored..i think it was kings grace or something like that. what would be sad is if someone tried to but BOTD in griz weapon.

I've seen someone make a botd outta a non eth war axe (did less then 80) and he also had that one unique armor with 3 sockets (tried making enigma out of it).
