Who here has the patience to explain the homeworks to the members? Explain it, not to do it, I agree with Forged on this.

Maybe the first 10, yes, you might have patience, but then?

Someone comes to ask you about some hard stuff on maths, and you won't feel like answering. Not you, nor anyone.

It's already an effort to make your own, what is it to explain it to others?

Let them ask their doubts here and there in Chit-Chat, they might be answered, or not. But creating a whole new forum is out of question, I believe.

What if we have someone that knows nothing about it?

You saying there aren't people on these forum's that don't know alot of things, whether it is science math or calculus? And that is their problem if they get the wrong awnser, they shouldn't copy. Just ask for help not the awnser.

As you have said most of the the people on the forum are 10-20 year olds and they have their own share of homework to deal with. Nevermind trying to help other people.

At my highschool if you have trouble or need help you stay after school for help. After all what if the teacher wants its in a certain way and the person who recieved the homework didnt understand and asks. If by the chance someone does help out, it may not the way the teacher wanted.

I just dont think it is a good idea. At all.

Even if we all agreed, the Forum would just go downhill, who the hell would post there? I wouldn't, it's easier for me to go on Google and search there, rather than wait for a reply which could easily be incorrect, or just not what i'm looking for.

...and I find it easier to just learn the material rather than search on google. What about some 16 year old junior taking calculus? Can anyone help me with the lim f(x) as x -> infiniti for the function (x^3 - x^2 + 3)/(x^3 - 9)? :D

We're not saying that it's a bad idea nor are we saying that the IQ of the members are 'low', but what I am wondering is how many people outside the staff forums would take this idea seriously (and we all know what some people are like when they don't like the idea).

Remember that the baseline of BF is the fact that it's a gaming forum.
