Been awhile since I read this post and I just noticed this comment. The lines are a feature of maphack they tell you what way North is, its usefull for pickit. So next time before you go calling someone a noob take a good look in the mirrior and be sure you know wtf you are talking about, (newb)

I also discovered a Revive glitch. I once resurrected some Scarabs (was in Hell, Tomb of Tal Rasha), and sometimes they would turn on me and attack my own men. Plus, they were under my merc's might aura and life tap seemed to mysteriously work on the bugger. I had no choice but to kill my own man.
