God of War?

So, I've seen a bit about this game, so far it looks like the best PS2 game of the year, but how is it? Anyone here played it yet? I might rent it tomorrow, just wondering what you guys think though?

its a great game,but the main character is so danm ugly i wouldin't buy the game,thats just my opinion.I have the demo,its a great game,from what ive seen.

BUT,i still prfere mah dmc3 its such goodness..

dmc3 is good... but daunte doesnt kill aries... or medusa

but he saves the whole world ^^

and the swords are one of things i dont like about GOW,i just dont like the feal of them =/

Yeah, just got my new PSM in the mail, and a DMC 3 demo... it's pretty fun, but I don't think I'll buy it.

GOW LOoks like a good game, jsut not a game I would buy right now.

Same for me, but I buy the games anyway and just leave them unbeaten.

GoW looks solid. The commercial campaigns is pretty effective at least.

I bought it and DMC3 theyare both very good games.I like the setting of GoW compared to DMC3 setting.

I bought it cause of all the good thing I've heard from it and all the good ratings, But seems like a game you would rent to me. Its getting sooo damn repeatative and all I really want to do now is finish it and sell it .

i bought, it and love it, its my sig right now...

dont base your opinions off a demo that doesnt even let you get through the whole first level, there is so much more than that, new skills... (besides level 1 posiden's rage) new attacks, and you get rage of the gods, which is fun; and the first level doesnt have alot of puzzles and stuff like when you get to the city...

The end sucks. You get all the unlocked stuff, thats ok. But you cant replay the game with everything you unlocked, you have to start the whole damn game over again.

god of war is defantly adamn good game dmc3 and ow going to be a close struggle for game of the year only thing bout god of war that i didn't like is its kinda short bout 20 hours.


But danm the storyline graphics and nudie wemon kept my wood up.




I would love to see a movie about god of war that would be fuggin aswome

I rented it...it was really fun while I was playing it..all the skills, puzzles, and gore made it quite entertaining....I just wish the game had been longer...I would wait and buy it once it goes on sale as one of the PS2 Classics.

Anyone knows the best tactic to destroy the second level of Ares (the one where you have to save your family) in God Mode (Very Hard). It's... Very hard indeed. I can't manage to be able to do it that well...

my friend was having the same problem,he said he had to heal his family ALOT

i rented the game,so i never got a chance to play in god mode
