Who cares if a girl plays counterstrike or not the game is there for you to enjoy, it's not there for you to hook up with other people. Mainly because people on it can be a pedophile or rapist, just trying to get in your pants. So don't use a videogame or pc-game to hook up with people or the internet either, unless if your Vadriel. I certainly can understand where you are coming from. I play under a female name, and even though I use voicechat (and definitely don't have a feminine voice) I've been hit on by guys a few times, just because of the screenname.

Simple. Girl gamers aren't all the common, and tend to stick to RPGs, Sims, that sort of thing. It's pretty rare to find one that enjoys a game where in-game interpersonal communication involves nothing more than hot lead. Why shouldn't they be interested in someone who shares a common interest?
