Ghosts real or not

I have not had an encounter with a ghost, but I still hold strong that they do exist. I am not really convinced with the whole idea of the ghosts having human forms and whatnot, but the orbs, plasma, etc. are more believable to me.

Currently, my friend is claiming that he is having a hard time with a ghost in his house. Things are being moved around, his dog is barking for no apparent reason and he once had a big wooden board with nails appear in his room overnight. I don't know, even if the last example is iffy, he isn't the kind of guy that would pull something like this.

Well my point of view never seen them heard them, smelt, tasted,or any other sense. Well i have been to I think 7 haunted houses(some where castles) sure they where creepy but ya, i thought my bathroom was creepy after seeing dream catcher. So this is kinda like religion you believe if you want to and if you don't want to don't! I still don't believe though.

Ryan I would really be interested for you to try explain (with some science behind it) What ghosts are, how they exist, why they didn't need food ect. I challenge soneone to explain it fully and with all the details.

If ghosts exist, they cannot be scientifically explained. However, just because things cannot be explained scientifically does not mean they are not true. An example of this is the spontaneous generation of energy strands in deep space. Science cannot explain this. This exception opens the door for many others. It cannot be proved scientifically that ghosts exist, but that does not mean they are fictitious.

You're referring to the big bang theory? scientists might not have explained the "spontanious" "creation" of energy but it doesn't mean its not explainable by science. Every thing is explainable by science, it might of not been explained yet though. Now ghosts are not like lighting, thats always been there and we just "recently", ghosts haven't been proved real yet, let alone explained how they could exist.

I don't think I could explain it scientifically but I'm sure you don't mind my explaining it biblically since I am explaining it nonetheless.

The soul is the person themself,it isn't something apart from the person.When you die, your dead and conscience of nothing.So people cannot be ghosts once they are dead. However, demons have the power to create apparations and use voices.They have the power to mislead people into thinking ghosts are dead people.

So if we're going down this road...So what makes you believe this? Where did these demons come from? Why do these demons have powers? Why do they trick us? Why do you know? What do these deamons eat? Do they sleep? Why don't we see them? I want to see some logic behind this theory.

If you think Ghosts are real then they are real. You see what you want and think what you want. Ghosts are just a figment of ones imagination. Has anyone ever seen those pictures of people with cytoplasm or whatever ghosts are supposedly made of on their face/body/etc.? They're sick..Looks like semen.

if u mean ghosts as in spirits that floart around teh earth then yes i belive in ghosts!!! but i do not belive in thos ppl that walk around n say "o i feel that someone died her n its rlly much angar in this room n the ghosts dont wanna leave the huose" etc etc.

anyways i belive that the eye see a lot of things but its not always right what it see!! many ppl have halusinasion or day dreams that cud be it!!

I beleive slighty in the Christian beleifs i beleive all people (including hitler) are born as a Angel and there soul is what carries on. Heres how my story goes well you are born as a Angel and a Demon will attach to your soul and make you a 'demon', i beleive this happened to many people including hitler. And when you die depending on your life your will be sent to a better place not heaven but a place where u want to be and if u were like hitler the deomn would be taken away and your soul will start over, you can choose if you wish a 'after life' or to have another go. I also beleive you will always be with your family as such your father could become your son your mother your sister ect. But, now heres were it gets tricky, if you were bad with out a demon and i mean exstremly bad your soul will wander the earth for eternity and this is what the families will see. Like say if i killed a man and then all my family passed over they would still be together but without me but i would remain with them and from time to time i would contact them and speak to them, seeing a ghost. I do not beleive in 'God' but i do beleive in a higher power and a high place to go.

Yes, i do beleive it. Everything doesnt have to always be about science, Faith is not based on science but you could probably find something to say it was, There is no 100% proof of the science theory and the religion theory, just faith. There is still a small chance, even tiny chance that they may be wrong. Not even the greatest minds in the world could explain how we came with out being 100% sure.

Stop repeating yourself, you used the wrong word in you're first sentance. "indicates" would mean that I am pointing out that science rules everything and if you're supposed to be against the fact that science rules everything you should of said "Implies".

You can't say the same thing for science, because science is the plausible, logical, scientific way of explaining things. How is "Demons attach to people" supposed to be logical or at least plausible.

Why would I look for some religion that uses science, it doesn't exist, if you want to watse your time looking go ahead.

At least science has a good % of being right, religion can't even has a % of being right.
