(Didn't see this before)

Axl, I can justify my post in that thread. I agree with Viz on one point: When someone has spammed I don't believe that people should post telling the person that they have spammed. This only creates more spam. Anything past a reported post is merely an attempt to draw attention to one's self. I believe that members sometimes exaggerate the amount of spam that is present to try to attain a moderator position. I think the same thing, however, about moderators who post to tell that they've moved the thread to another forum and things like that. It's just an inflated post count isn't it?
While you are right in some respect you are wrong in others. When you are given a mod job you are to help out the forums. However this may not be the case with a select few who can't handle the responsibility or just don't know what kind of fun is an ok fun (IE teenagers may think that smoking with there friends is fun, but in reality you are only ****ing your self).
I agree with you on things like
this thread (it was in the asylum before) because it is out in the open where members are free to comment on it. However I do most my spam reporting through the report system and if the case is more serious (like a mod abusing his power) I will bring it to BStaff.
In it self when a mod (or above) spams it tells the whole forum that "HEY! I'm a mod and I spam and get away with it! Why shouldn't you?" which I try to stress a lot. A lot like
this thread (that was in the asylum).
Some people have to realize when a mod spams, it is a hell of a lot more serious then when a normal member does it. Whether it has immediate effects or not.
