Getting away with murder?

I live in an apartment complex cause I'm poe'. So that means I have a shared parking lot and is owned by the "board" if you will.

Well I have a loaded rifle in my room. I see someone is trying to steal MY CAR.... MY PROPERTY which I BOUGHT with MY MONEY working with MY TIME.

I shoot him in the throat and kill him.

How will the Lawman act in this situation?

I ask this because as some may of heard my car got stolen last month... I fuckin loved that bird. Anyway. I'm pretty sure I know the dirty little spic that did it. for sake of not being 100% sure is the only reason I don't go and give him a "Sweeny Shave."

So more to the point. Hypothetically speaking: I wake up to see people hurdled around my car trying to break in, I open fire with my rifle, And you better believe at 50 feet I'm a Goddamn Marksman with a rifle, Aim small Miss Small.... However many shots, that's how many kills.

What would be the verdict?

The actual law, and it varies largely by state, is if you shoot them below the waste. Otherwise your liable for civil and criminal damages.
