Actually, she said she thought it was "Broadband Only" only on PC. Btw, why would it be broadband only for pc if it works with dial-up on PS2? (directed towards my sis).

Maybe I phrased it wrong...? Maybe this works better:

Get it for PC. You can talk to people.

I thought that was broadband only? We have dialup, so I doubt we'd be able to talk to people.

I meant that I thought only broadband could have voice communication.

gawd dont play ffxi, its a 1-way ticket to an anti-social life, i noticed i wasnt talking to friends while playing that game so i sold it for 10 bucks and closed my account for good. its just another pointless rpg with greedy people obsessed for power.

I live in the middle of nowhere, my social life has been dead for two years. So no worries there

Anyway it's not like it's an obsession; it's just a hobby.

For all the time and money we spent getting it to work, of course I'm going to play it.

Yeah, the network adapter works for both, but some games (like SOCOM) are broadband only. Luckily, FFXI is not Anyway, I'm really happy it's working, so thanks for the help, guys ^_^
