I am the same way. I dont care unless I really want to know what to add. People can say it looks like shit, and I will still use it. Mac said my sig looks like shit and look im useing it. It just dosnt matter to some people what they say. Remmber it is my Sig space, and I am within the limmits acording to the rules.

If you've had to "put up" with "ALOT" of shit since you've started doing graphics, do you think you might be doing something wrong? Surely it can't be coincidence that you've had to "put up" with such negative feedback. You create a piece lacking in artistic value, disillusion yourself when you're told it's otherwise, eliminate room for improvement, and continue without taking heed. Talk about a vicious cycle.
You either need to wake up to the fact that you seriously suck and should at least put in some effort to change that, or realize that you're consciously severing yourself from things you falsely perceive as detrimental.

When you first got here I criticized you for altering other peoples work and using pre made grunge brushes. I was criticizing you for not putting an honest effort into actually trying to create something of your own, you replied with:

ignoring the fact that majorities of your pieces weren't your creation (save for some bevel/emboss and text). In this thread you posted your first experiment with Bryce, not a masterpiece, fair enough: you just started. Then, you posted two images, 100% yours, that do not deserve to be called finished pieces. Excuse me for simply pointing out the fact that anything you make, and call art, that isn't plagiarized, sucks. If you actually took the hint, you would want to be learning how to make good looking stuff for your own, instead of using other peoples' to salvage your crappy handiwork.
And for the love of god, drop the 'this is the internet so you don't have a life' shit.

Critiquing someone's work doesn't mean tell them exactly how to improve it.

You must also take note that in the case of images with no potential whatsoever, the best recommendation that can be made is some variation of "start over".

...there are no good recomendations for your image, it's default settings applied to water, sky, and some mindless shape. The only improvement possible without starting over is to hit Ctrl+A and Delete.

God I loved how you threw that little "NO Lifes" thing in there. Just becuase we're better than you at graphics, doesn't mean we have no lifes. We are "critisising" just not the way you want. You freggin threw 2 torus's up, threw a reflective surface, kept the default sky, and put a metallic material to the 2 torus's, no shit people are gonna stomp on you for that.
