If you're unlucky enough to get a phys/cold immune monster and you're by yourself, just s/e and make a new game or move on. It probably isn't worth your time to spam lightning all day until you finally kill it.

The chances of fighting one of those are quite high, if the monster is Cold Immune and gets Stone Skin.

The chances that one of those monsters come about and he has no other party members and he NEEDS to kill it (for whatever reason. He can just save and exit) are much smaller.

I am only saying lightning because there aren't many itLs out in the game. And the only dangerous ones I think are the Tainted and Gloams if you dont have light resist yourself. Or any monster with LE and an innate light resist.
