My Wife is a Gangster. Yeah, it's a Korean flick, but I totally loved it.

Then there's the original Infernal Affairs series from Hong Kong.

And Fat Choi Spirit, another Hong Kong film - if you understand mah jong, it's just so damn funny.

It's fucking depressing.

Seriously, Blow and Fear and Loathing is a movie with drugs, Requiem is about drugs. It's a sobering mvoie, and one I can't watch to often because I feel like ending my life it's so depressing.

Otherwise it was fabulously directed, acted and written. Loved it. Not to say I didn't think Blow and Fear weren't good, if I were to pick one drug movie, it would always be requiem.

Since it's near Halloween:

Evil Dead Series
Stanley Kubrick Movies (Any)
Donnie Darko

Ginger Snaps was good as well, I even liked the second one.
