Family Guy V Futurama - Which is funnier?

I'm sure most of you know what these shows are, but for those who don't, here's a reminder.

Family Guy:

Futurama:

Which would you say is funnier than the other? They are both usual shows on Adult Swim, and they are probably the highest rating shows on it too, but which one takes the cake. Or are they equally as funny?

Futurama has its moments. Family Guy does too. They both started airing on TV at the same time, and they were both canceled. Strange, eh? They both have different types of comedy though.

I would pick Family Guy because it has made me laugh more than Futurama. Futurama is sometimes funny, but Family Guy is still funnier to me. However, the new episodes have had a lower quality than the old ones. I wish they would make more Futurama episodes. :bounce:

They're planning to make more Futurama episodes. I think Family Guy is funnier, but I like Futurama as a show more. Simply because it's not always about the humor, as it can portray other things as well (the episode with the seven-leave clover, for instance).

Oh, I heard that there would be new episodes, but I never saw any confirmation. That's awesome. Futurama does make more sense than Family Guy because at least it has a continuing story line. FG is somewhat random, and it is more focused on humor than anything else.

Family Guy fails at funny. It's all about puking out as many pop culture references it can in an episode and hoping that viewers confuse lame with funny. Also "random" isn't funny. It's boring kiddy shit. lol monkey in my closet laff cause its sooo randdom lol

Family guy rocks ****. I especially like the pop culture references. It's amazing how many they can puke out in one episode. Sometimes I confuse lame with funny, then it gets so random I just HAVE to laff!

Futurama is more creative to me, but Family Guy is def funnier in terms of the laughs.

It's sweet that they are making more Futuramas. I had no clue. Awesome.

For the futureama fans, the show isn't going to be a straight show. The y are releasing four(I think) movies which may be later chopped up into 4 episodes each, thus you have a season.

Futureama is definately a better show completely. It is funnier, it is smarter, has a great writing staff, and amazing voice talents(dont **** with Ren and Stimpy). Family guy on the other hand is usualy a half hour of random pop culture fart jokes with no story and obviously strained voice work. Not to mention there have been so many lifted plot elements out of other work on family guy. Futureama has the humor you have to pay attention or you miss subtle jokes, etc.

Never watched Family Guy or that other show. If I had to guess which one would be funnier I suppose I would pick Family Guy.
