Existance remains to be questioned.

No, no... this is not a religious thread. I'm speaking of the fact that I have no proof whether I breathe or not. Whether anyone I know really shares a relationship, or even knows me. I could have faith in myself, in my exitance, but what if faith doen't exist... I may feel it, but it may not be there. And if it is, then maybe things that I imagine, that I dream ARE there... I still live "life" in the context of "human" and in a typical "sane state of mind" (I suppose) but I still say "am I human?" "Am I anything at all?" "Am I really doing anything, or is it all in my mind... and if it is, what is my mind doing HERE? Do I THINK and PERCIEVE, or is there another word for it?" "Someone could tell me that I am NOT crazy, and that life IS real, but I really don't know"

----So, the only thing that I can safely say... is that I am. And from there, I can interact, fight, love, live whoever, and whatever I can and will. Because if 'I am'... (that phrase is complete)... it doesn't matter what I believe or not... because my choice lets me believe that everyone else's choice makes them who they are... since I do not now this for sure, and since maybe I don't have to(because life may go beyond the choice of knowledge and / or faith) and since I know for sure that I am, then I can consider the possibility that other people are, as well.---- Which is why I am willing to make sacrifices for what I think I worth it, and fo what is worth it to me...

I think you've seen the matrix one to many times. (the first one, not the shitty sequels)

actually its a perfectly common question. the answer lies in whether you believe you exist or not.

I think it your case we should turn to the immortal words of Descartes who said "I post random semi-philosophical 'beatin-a-dead-horse' bullshit, therefore I am"

I probably would, although I do not suppose my question will really be answered, because the connection of question and answer is humanly labeled, or, created by humans, so, any answer can never be conclusive, I am not really looking for a sure answer, I only wanted to discuss it, and for people to share their ideas. There are many thoeries, and that's cool, but I prefer to not just nail a theory or an answer to a subject, I only think that one's way of thinking is more important, because, after all, that's waht makes them say what they say, and / or to think what they think. So, there isn't much of an answer without the question, and that is why I like the question just a little more.

Don't be stupid. 'Question' and 'Answer' are English words so you're tied to using their English definitions. Don't go into some long bullshit rant about "Is a question really a question?" The word 'question' relates to an inherent idea of what a question is. When you use the word we assume the idea. There's really nothing else to it. I believe this answers your entire thread as well as your entire line of thinking.

Actually, I sincerely think you should reread the post you quoted, because, first of all, I never said that "a question isn't really a question" I said that an answer is not very good without the question, and English was created by humans (try not to trap yourself next time, I know I talk a lot of blah-blah, but it's not exactly bulllshit)

Furthermore, you dissapointed me, because you missed the message I was actually trying to communicate. I said that I am searching for no conclusive or definite answer. I only wanted ideas to be shared in this thread. I realize and appreciate the fact that you are a moderator, but please, I ask you the favor, I ask you not to insult anyone's ideas, or to assume that you have even figured out ANYONE'S "line of thinking"... (GOD, I hate that term... "line of thinking"...) Even better, you could question them. But no... instead, you chose mudslinging. Come on, man! It's not necessary, and it's not even worth doing!

This is why I don't insult people, even if they insult me.

wouldnt that kind of conduct be considered spamming in arcane asylum?

I really dont think you are asking the right people this question. Half the people in this forum arnt even in college. And the ones that are sound like electricians and people that make less than 100k a year. which isnt exactly the best salary to live on these days. So my question for you is why do you ask that on these forums?

I'm not "mudslinging". Like you said though, I reread your post and remain unconvinced that I originally misinterpereted it. I didn't miss your message at all. In fact, I'm sharing my ideas with you just like you wanted.

Nowhere in the quote that I responded to did you say anything about an answer not being good without a question. All you said is that you can't be sure whether your question has been answered because the "connection [between] question and answer" is created by humans.
