Okay, it's great that you released the "buildanywhere" hack on your thread, but the fact that it doesn't extract/work kinda brings me down

It's quite sad how people pass around leaked hacks. I don't know about the maker of the selection hack, but I don't think Agent would take kindly to you passing around his hack that was originally meant to be kept private.

Build Anywhere was originally private. Two wrongs don't make a right. By that I mean just because one selfish person does something doesn't mean you should encourage the act.

Oh, and who cares? Make the readme on your terms not Louis's. Why does he have to "let you"? Make the stupid readme if you want to and release it. This isn't a good example for this particular hack because it would be nice if the whole thing would be forgotten about and stop being passed around...ANYWAYS I have to make this short...my point was do it if you want to.

bwhacks still has a link to buildanywhere, since it was out I decided not to "cover it up" but I did want to stop spreading it. So it was up for alot more than 3hrs

Second that MassSelect hack is a U8e2 1@|\/|3 version of multicommand, in that it can only move 120 units, and they must be selected/hotkeyed first (doesn't help when mass producing new lings every couple seconds) My multicommand can mov 375h (yes hexadecimal is the only way my counter came out so far =( ) units. I don't see any reason for not releasing MassSelect, but just remember that sending the command's that way through a macro won't be the best as some units in the middle of the herd get stuck and you end up having to call the macro over and over again, until it crashes. It's just as fast to move the 10 groups by hand...
I would request that BuildAnywhere not be put up, due to the fact that you do not have the authors permission to do so, and he has made it publicly and clearly known that he does not want it to be spread any further. I would consider it on the same level as warez, but do as you want it's your site.

I figured out how to do the massselection one, and it's hard to use, but hey, if you got enough time then it comes handy. The buildanywhere one doesn't even work in the downloads.

I really do wish I could do my own hacks, but all that stuff seems to complicated for a dumbshit like myself. I mean, I just want to play the game. If it was more simple to learn, then I'd probably be all over it, but I am lazy and, again, just want to play the game.

BTW: I guess a lot of people didn't even notice that Louis released the massselect hack alongside the buildanywhere hack... Keep your eyes open people!

Hacking is a lot of fun. I would recommend it to anyone. The only people who I wouldn't recommend it to would be people who give up easily. Hacking is a total learning expereince and that's the best part about it-you're always learning. You get to ask yourself "hrmm, now why did that happen?" and try and solve it. Also, possibly one of the greatest things about hacking is that you learn a lot about programming. (If you don't then you can't hack-simple) You also find new ways to challenge yourself in that too(for example-if I ever get around to it-I thought it would be fun to convert stuff from language to language. Example: Make something in VB->ASM->C++ As you can see this would greatly help.) Anyways here is one peice of advice that you can actually take: People who think they can't usually don't.
