yea i guess. I just did it with my sorc in hell yestarday too. But i couldnt get a ci with my barb but the same thing with my sorc happend iam pretty sure how to get the sorc part rite but i dont know about the Connection Interupted.

starfish if we can figure out all the key step's that u went thrue i think theres a large chance we can get this
for one it's obviously exploiting a bug having to do with the ancients...
i think if we could get the character doing the ancients the c/i then we'd be able to copy and make this a method instead of just a glitch

i'm not really sure why you have to get c/i rather than just save and exit but if you wanna get it without realm down you could try blocking the ping and pong packets which are 6a(sent) and 8f(received). i just tried it and it gets me c/i after a minute or two. just an idea.

this happens all the time i think summit already explained well hate to burst yo bubble (HEHE) but its clientside yep you heard me say it when you die (AND DONT PRESS ESC DUH!) and somone kills ancients youll suddenly become alive naked! HEHE but its only clientside thats why you cant pick up anything or drop even the other people in the game still see you dead and your body on the ground but on your screen you can run and do anything haha

btw, i know why he got c/i with this barb. it has to do with the internet connection and the amount of d2 clients connect to b.net. when my brother is botting (2 sorcs) and i run 2 d2s and im rushing myself, one guy lags out in every act, and the other rushee stays in the game.. its wierd i should try muleing with it sometime to see if i can get the same effect.


theres like a 40 second time period where the Rushee lags like a bitch and the other guy gets c/i and booted from bnet

putting your modem on stand-by will give you a c/i, and the sorc can be on anotehr comp so she doesnt egt c/i.
dropping 5 (or so) 1 gold pieces gives you a c/i, without r/d (as long as i remember)
