DS vs PSP

I highly doubt Sony will continue to make more PSP versions. If it's an mp3 player and such, then it's going to be outdated in a year when the newer, better PDA's come out. This is why the all mighty Computers are more popular than any or all consoles combined. They're upgradable and there are more kinds and better ones coming out.
What's the battery life on these portable devices anyways?

psp will be just like the nokia n-gage. Great concept (cellphone, gameboy, mp3) huge price (ngage was 300$) horrible sales.

the two screen would be great for rpgs and such.
but psp offers you 1.8 Gigz and 4 mb of ram. but thats not saying much
does the DS allow mp3?
