hmm i have 866 processor and a 639 mb of SDRAM and a geforce 3. i dont think its gonna work on my comp

that right there will give you about 4 fps (REALLY REALLY SHITTY) but you maybe able to play like that lol.

And your right, it is a next gen game and will require the next gen parts for optimal play.

keep the assault rifle out for the flood, when you run out of ammo on that clip, switch to pistol, there should be no flood around by then, reload both weapons, rinse and repeat.


There is a alienware comp at xbox-scene in the buyselltrade forums for 1200. It has a 3.x ghz processor and a gig of ram. I tried lookin for it but couldnt find it again.

Those recommended specs won't leave you running at 4fps...

I have a 1.5GHz processor, 768MB DDR333, and a GeForce 2 ti 500 64mb DDR and how much do you want to bet that I will get 60+ frames out of it? It might not look pretty, but full details can be sacrificed for smoother gameplay, which is what the recommended specs are all about...not to mention, I can run them at full detail and still not lag, just because I will only be getting the full end of my DX7 support

he wasnt saying the recommended specs will run at 4fps, he was saying some of our comps will run at 4fps because it sux.

i said MINIMUM... not recommened.... and yea, i doubt the minimum will run at 4 fps, probably more like 20.. .but still.

i bet the recommeneded specs would be top of the line consittering the quality of the game.

My computer can handle Doom I and II but I dont think it will for III Hopefully I have a Frame Rate over 30.
