Doom 3 is going to take a shitload of memory.. and probably a Geforce3 at the least. I'm definetly going to buy it. Does anyone know if it will have online capabilities?

It should, most definatley. Would still be very fun w/o mp though; just not as fun as it might have been. I'll go check now.

it will have multiplayer, but free online gaming is a iffy. People could probally set up their own servers pretty ez though. It will definatly not play on my computer And it will need at least a geforce 4 to run without it being super choppy, lol. Ati is better though!!! =P

The minimum requirements (said on the screen savers) were:

1 ghz processor
256 mb ram
geforce 2

that right there will give you about 4 fps (REALLY REALLY SHITTY) but you maybe able to play like that lol.

And your right, it is a next gen game and will require the next gen parts for optimal play.

lol, 4fps isnt playable, the graphics are way better then on d2, have you ever tried playing d2? hell, have you ever tried playing cs at 4fps? it just doesnt work. lol.

I've played D2 close to 4, I think it was near 10 fps plus the lag online = slow as crap. That was when I had something called a S3 Savage 4 graphics card Anyone heard of it?

there's more to it than ram... resolution as well. i forgot to add that with the min requirements you'd probably be playing at the lowest resolution

ggsshhzzzz it seems top of the line computers arent very top of the line for long
