no not at all... its not even a good game... orc = human in that... very little strategy involved when the reaces are identical except for spells and unit names

I loved war2, but it got to easy because most of the good players quit, the maps I like died, and the only competion left can rape me up the ass.
But up untill around 5 months ago yes I played war2

one key factor your guys r forgetting is that in wc2 they didnt have heros!!!! heros own especially when fully leveled up.

Warcraft 2 was such a great game, the graphivs were crap, but that was the game that got me into strategy games.

Also in wc2 they had the ships that could attack bases if near water it was all good in wc3 they didnt have that many ships but that just a small inconvience

warcraft2 is worth way more than $10 it and starcraft are two of the most adictive games I have ever played, you guys just tend to concentrate on graphics thats why you dont like it...

Btw war2 had heros where do you think Uther and everyone else came from...

Well the graphics were decent when the game came out and i only remember grom hell scream being a grunt and uther being a paladin thats all the heroes i remember

Zan_Toast, the warcraft II community is sorta small, but we're a loyal bunch who will play it forever.

you can visit http://war2.warcraft.org/ for the bulk of intelligent people who still play. most of the people who post there dont play customs, but a few do. also, you can find us in channel "league" if you want a good game. we used to hang out in war2 ladder challenges.
