Does listening to music make you play better?

Music usually helps me stay relaxed when playing games. I remember once when playing SC i was listening to some music when I got into a huge battle and "Lets get it on" started playing. If you know even part of the words you'd find that at least mildly entertaining.

Does anyone around here get pumped up by lyrics? Sometimes lyrics get me excited like a little school girl going to church for the first time. An experience all in itself.

I think that it helps me a lot when I'm playing any sort of game, it makes me think straight.
