I don't know what kind of games your watching. tvp comps, perhaps?????? Sooner or later(most likely later) you'll realize bats suck vs p. You can argue over stance as long as you like. You're wrong, period. If it was so so you wouldn't have to give such extreme circumstances.

lol, phoenix mayb you should try to play real players that try diff strat everygame instead of the same thing over and over again? then sometime u will see firebat added onto a gundam rush or some other weird strat that involves bat tvp
you should really stop playing with only a small group of player mayb ?

firebats(needs academy) in a gundam rush???????. I'll re-iterate: You must be playing a whole different version of starcraft than everyone else or you're maikng things up with your newbie theorycraft. Marines are used and even then they're cannon fire. It doesn't at all mean marines or firebats are good in tvp. Infantry sucks in tvp. Accept it, embrace it.

infantry for tvp is to either win or lose
and gundam rush into firebat is EASY TO DO CAUSE U NEED THE TECH FOR SCAN ANYWAY --v if u gundam and don't get scan, gg dt drop --v(if toss does that anyway

If ur gonna attempt the gundam rush...go all out...send all but 1 or 2 scv's with your marines and gogogo.... firebats??? bs.... u need geyser for that AND academy...and you know how long it takes for academy to build?? and seriously...the toss will counter ur gundam rush with either cannons, goons, dts, or reavers...NOT zealots..cause itz suicide sending them towards the bunker since scv can repair constantly

M&M could be effective if toss isnt going for templar tech. either toss is going for 1gate fast expo or robot tech for fast obs, M&M can be very effective. and there is a strategy where you go 1 Fac(For tanks), and later on you keep adding rax(M&M)...It's called ¹ÙÄ«´Ã. I think CGNo.1 can read that letter. since he is korean too.
If Protoss makes Zealots and Dragoons, few firebats could help.

M&M tvp is a build based on luck. A few temps and/or reavers and you're ****ed. I think the only reason terran infanrty works so well(in general), period is because of meds. For without them, ran would be would be screwed against zerg, anyway. Bats aren't useful at all. Especially if toss starts withs goons.

bats are not ment to deal with goons, if u use infantry vs toss, you need to do it fast with a tank to aid you, the bat are suppose to protect the tank from the zealots while the marine are suppose to shoot down the goons, tanks are for taking out cannons if they cannon up, or vs reaver ( mm is amazing vs shuttle reaver if u can kill shuttle ^^;;) infantry tvp is called bamboo terran right? :O i forgot what the name for it is

Hmm madball and newbie4lyfe only ones with head on straight.

Bats own zealots, hands down.

If you go M/M drop i suggest bringing a few bats along... I mean dropped behind minerals they easily will lick the econ of the opponant with splash dmg, ect.
