I am guessing you like Dream Theather. Possibly the best Progressive rock band live. Rockin the Purple monster.I like Rock music with classical music... can you say Progressive Rock? Most of these are Rock with a lot of different instruments from different styles and the tracks are longass like 10 minutes. It has a lot from orchestral music when I think about it, just a bit more modern and innovative. And it's rather mellow and melodic, you don't have 2 basses or something, I'm talking alternative Rock, not Metal.
Thus proving that your taste in music revolves around the name of a band rather than the sound of the music.korn said:when it comes to orchestral music the only kind ive ever gotten into is from bands like dimmu borgir and cradle of filth when they have it in their songs, of which i have a dimmu cd with all orchestral versions of some of their songs and its awesome
How do Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir's names somehow make a connection that would make him listen to them from that subject alone? Thus proving that your taste in music revolves around the name of a band rather than the sound of the music.
no it doesnt. i just like the style of the music the way dimmu borgir and cradle of filth have it- when they have orchestral music in the background it has a calming menacing sense to it and has atmosphere to the song. if i was to listen to any actually symphony/orchestra constructed by 50 year old guys in white powdered wigs i just wouldnt enjoy it that much, even though i have been to a few in school before and they werent THAT bad. Thus proving that your taste in music revolves around the name of a band rather than the sound of the music.
Yes! I love his music in Fable. Fits the mood so well.Black~Enthusiasm said:Everything by Danny Elfman (he's Tim Burton's main soundtrack compositor)
i was refering to old-timey classical and orchestral of which not many years ago they all wore the white-powdery wigs and most people think of those guys when they hear orchestra or classical music.CelestialBeaver said:...How would the fact that a conductor wears a "white powdered wig" (which isn't even true) ruin a piece of music?
