Just curious, I love it! It can make me feel happy, even when I'm sad, it sounds really mellow, and soothing when I listen to it. Especially from video games. Ff3 and FF8 come to mind. The music from both really move me into the mood of doing something, because it sounds ''happy'' :)

I like it when Cradle of Filth makes music like that. Doesnt metallica S&M count?

I only really like the orchestral score from Requiem for a Dream. I lose interest in the other ones I listen to quickly.

I love orchestral music. I love the symphonies. I like it much more than the modern music.

Orchestral music expresses mood just as good as the modern stuff, just not as noisy. I find it soothing also...

I usually get lost in music with Orchastras in it. There is so much going on from Violins, drums, guitars, singer's voice, chellos, bass, pianos. I mean that in a good way. It totally relaxes me and Helps me sleep. And then in my sleep i can sometimes hear the music and it goes with my dream, which usually doesnt make sense.

-Ode to Joy
-Mozart's requiem.
-The Amélie Poulain film soundtrack.
-Requiem for a dream soundtrack
-Stuff by john william : Starwars, shindler's list, Jurasique park.
Everything by Danny Elfman (he's Tim Burton's main soundtrack compositor)

I think it is called fur elise or something, I know it is done by clint mancell. I also know lil' jon used it in a song. Good song considering it is rap.

Fur Elise was by Beethoven. And I've never found any RFAD song that was called fur elise, but maybe I haven't searched hard enough. Rap, really ?

I like Rock music with classical music... can you say Progressive Rock? Most of these are Rock with a lot of different instruments from different styles and the tracks are longass like 10 minutes. It has a lot from orchestral music when I think about it, just a bit more modern and innovative. And it's rather mellow and melodic, you don't have 2 basses or something, I'm talking alternative Rock, not Metal.
