i can't decide between levi or uped shaft, shaft has 30% dr but levi has a little more def and mass +strength.

I like Blackhorn's face, I find lightning to be a nasty element because of the Black Souls that use it. So i get a 15 damage abosrbing death mask. It can help with msle in v1.09 or the nasty monsters such as Tainted and Black Souls and Sextons, but a great resist mask thru and thru. Set wise, its Trang Ouls, 25% dr with armor and whole set

I like perfect Vipermagi & my +15% cold skill damage Ormus with Blizzard.

I wouldn't mind having a 25% dr leviathan, though the str req is kinda high. maybe stick a scintillating jewel of freedom for 15% resists with 15% lower str req, taking it down from 174 to 148.

otherwise shaftstop is an oldie but goodie for the 30% dr and easy availability.

if my character already has enough dr, now that the cap's been lowered from 75% to 50% (damn bnet), I like guardian angel for the 15% increase in maximum resists (assuming I have enough resists to use the increase). even better for my paladin with the +1 paladin skills.

The Atlantean if you plan on raising a vengadin in the early going, (+2 to all skills). Nasty when defense and resist all is dropped by conviction.

shaft pwns valor. valor sucks. valor doesnt have any awesome DR like u said.... it has damage reduced by 10-15. wow thats a whole lot
shaft it awesome. it has nice +life, can be upgraded for good defence, and has 30%DR, and the str req is only 92, compared to valors 165, which is a lot more than any non-melee type is going to want or have unless u are straight pvp

Umm Valor has +to VIT based on char lvl which is much MUCH better than just 65 to life, and has 2 to skills.

Upgraded shaft is nice but Valor is still better.

oo boy + to vit, thats 2-3 life point per each, which is like 100-150 life... oo boy big difference

i like Guardian Angel. this impact of this armor vs anyone using elemental magic must not be underestimated. 14k fireballs can kiss my @$$.
