I think it should be brand spankin new (or else this contest would have been over already) but i think its up to pink since he made the contest

I would hope not half the time is already up and it would discurage people from compeating if it had to be a new map.

Well it would be nice if it didn't have to be from scratch, but I've started from scratch so I guess if he says we can use exsiting maps then I'm screwed, and I'm about 25% done so I'm getting there.

It really isn't your map if you didn't make it from scratch. I have never modified a map and released it.

You should not in any way, call yourself a map maker if you "Modify" maps, even then, I wouldnt like people modifying my maps protected or not.

Ok, ive been gone a long while ever since I got my new comp and I'm happy to say its now working like a dream. The only problem is some of my editing programs arent entirely working such as scmtoolkit which i need to stack my minerals (). I do have the map that i am working on and I WILL finish it by Holloween. Its bout 60% done and I really need to fix a ton of bugs.

Oh yea an btw we may need another judge if people are making bw maps because unfortunatly like I have said many times (more then I can remember). I do not have broodwar..

Well, I decided that I can't make a map in time for halloween so I am quitting this contest because Starforge keeps screwing up on me and I'm not doing very good on my map so I am withdrawing from this contest.Good Luck Everyone Else!!!!!​
