Say, Blizzard was to add one more neutral hero to the Tavern, and they did a world-wide search for the best submitted ''hero'' for them to create and put into the game itself. What kind of hero would you make and submit to Blizzard? The hero can be a bit overpowered, since it's premature to assume that Blizzard would nerf/balance it before tossing it into the fold anyways. ;)

Please be a little in-depth with your posts. I want this thread to be a good one! :D

Heroname: Crusader.
Description: Warrior Hero, exceptional at offensive combat and holy magic. Can Learn Benediction, Glower, Righteous Aura, and Holy.

Starting life: 675.
Starting Mana: 300.
Starting Defense: 5.
Starting Damage: 25-35. (2 second Cool down)
Starting Strength: 23. (2.8 per level.
Starting Agility: 18. (1.8 per level.)
Starting Intelligence: 20. (2.2 per level)

basically, with this, I'd want to create a more offensive Paladin. Except, it would be a valiant female instead of a fuzzy duddy male with a hammer. She would have gold hair, red and silver armor, a red cape, and a shield/sword (This is how I see her in my head.)

As for her skills, I'm still working those out also. But, Benediction would be a mass-healing type of spell, Glower would be something like a support skill, I'm thinking, increasing magic resistance of friendly units. Righteous Aura would work something like a mix of Command Aura and Devotion Aura, and Holy would just be a super nuke spell. Heh. :D

Well, post away and tell me how much my hero sucks! :)

It would be better then a Paladin, and a chick. That's my goal. I figured, since she gets GOOD Stats at each level, the damage she starts with is just fine.
Based on how she levels, she would come out with 51 Strength at level 10, 36 Agility, and 42 Intelligence. Those are pretty damn good stats for a Strength Hero if you know what I mean. Add her cooldown and it would be, like 1.8-1.7 or so by level 10, so melee damage wouldn't be a problem for her at all. :D :p

@ Icedragon: Awesome! :D

A Myrdion Type Naga Hero would be kind of neat...:D

Heroname: Celestial Being
Description: Divine warrior excelling in all forms of combat. Spells include the wrath of god, Holy aura (900% increased hp/mana regen), fist of the heavens (a classic d2 spell), and Divine ressurection(6 units are res'd with 45 sec invurn).

Starting life: 10000
Starting Mana: 3000
Starting Defense: 56
Starting Damage: 14000-14500. (.001 second Cool down)
Starting Strength: 570 (37 per level.)
Starting Agility: 1800. (46 per level.)
Starting Intelligence: 200. (23 per level)

Basically, I wanted to portray the power of the light. I figured, why make another mediocre hero when you could have a truly godly one? Hence, my hero has spells that wreak havoc on the opposition, as well as damage and health to level entire towns without being wounded.

Name: Holy Orc (Opposite of chaos orc)
Description:An Orc that has accepted the powers of light and made full use of them. He has seperated himself from the tribe to protect himself from the demons. He truly symbolizes how light an orc can be while maintaining their brutal combat status and fighting skills. He carries two axes and has heavy armor on and a jet black ponytail.

Gift of Light - Passive:The Orc's trust in the angels give him and his loyal teammates a couragous aura that slowly destroys the enemy and heals the teammates, his teammates gain the Aura also.(Heals all teammates and the orc himself by 2 every second and damages nearby enemies by 2 every second, progresses up 1.5 points with each level.)
Level 1 - 600 Range Level 2 - 800 Range Level 3 - 1200 range

Angelic Beam of Light: The Orc has reached a master stage, the Angels grant him a gift, a song of the light, an annihilator of evil, a bolt of pure light energy that will discharge into a friendly being or an enemy being, the friendly being positive and enemy being negative (Bolt comes down that deals 100 damage to an enemy unit or building, when targeting friendly units or buildings it completely heals all of the hitpoints.)

Level 1 - 100 damage Level 2 - 300 damage Level 3 - 600 damage
140 mana 150 mana 100 mana 55 second cooldown

Is that good? It is a bit overpowered but I wanted to symbolize this orc had reached true power.

Big Cannon Dwarf Man
Ya rly

Description
A lonely dwarf from the far lands of Khaz Modan. Well, that's it. That's the description.

Starting Health: 120 (Yes)
Starting Damage: 200-256 (Speed is 10 seconds)
Main Attribute: Agility
Starting Strength: 10
Starting Agility: 39
Starting Intelligence: 3

Abilities:

Extra Ammo:
Finishes the cooldown of your attack and all abilities except for Extra Ammo.
Rank 1 - 60 second cooldown.
Rank 2 - 45 second cooldown.
Rank 3 - 30 second cooldown.

Self-destruct (Passive)
When killed, the hero will explode and cause damage to everybody around him.
Rank 1 - 100 damage and 30 damage over time.
Rank 2 - 300 damage and 40 over time.
Rank 3 - 500 damage and 50 over time. Also, it will instantly kill one non-hero unit.

Impact (Passive)
Each attack will have a splash damage effect.
Rank 1 - Small radius.
Rank 2 - Medium radius and 10 instant damage.
Rank 3 - Large radius, 20 instant damage and 10 over time.

Nuclear Launch (Ultimate)
Sends a nuclear launch at a targeted area.
Causes 500 damage in a large radius, and 50 over time. Causes only 350 to heroes and 25 damage over time. Also, this causes 150 damage to Big Cannon Dwarf Man. All survivors of the nuclear launch will have their defense decreased by 2 and attack damage increased by 100%. All killed units will explode on the impact of the nuclear launch, and cause 10 damage to nearby units. In addition, Big Cannon Dwarf Man will recieve a debuff that decreases his defense to zero and will be unable to attack for 10 seconds. The nuke will do 10% more damage on buildings. Oh yeah, and you have to pay 500 gold and 250 lumber to make one, and it takes 4 minutes to build one. To build a nuke, you have to build it in your alter and it will take up 8 food and will count as a hero. Oh, did I mention that the nuke's impact has a 10% chance to kill a unit instantly, and 2.5% chance for hero. To rebuild a nuke, you must revive it like you would do so a hero, except the cost will remain 500 gold and 250 lumber. Oh yeah, for every critter and tree killed in the impact, Big Cannon Dwarf Man gains one health.

Strategies with Big Dwarf Cannon Man

-Place him in a circle wall of farms as you would a tower, so you wont have to deal with his minimum range.
-Nuke and Run: When you nuke, there is a 10 second delay before the nuke actually hits. If you die, the nuke is failed and wasted, so bring a healer or something!
-Stay away from Death Knights. They will piss you off. They melee, and they are faster than you.
-Big Cannon Dwarf Man cannot attack air. Bring some crypt fiends or something.
-When you nuke, it will show "Nuclear Launch Detected" on the screen.
-Some players may think Big Dwarf Cannon Man is overpowered, but they are just newbies!
-Nukes hit your units too! Watch out!
-Use Extra Ammo after you attack to reset your attacking so you can shoot once more.
-Shoot the enemy peons. Trust me, it pisses them off.
