Its obvious that you know absolutely nothing about the issue, but ill play along. The second amendment allows americans to bear arms. This is not a republican ideal, this is an american one. Democrats and Republicans want to take away submachine guns, sawed off shotguns and non-military automatics, but....handguns are a divided issue. Should people be allowed to keep a handgun for the defense of their home and property? If a convincing study could show that a hunting rifle or shotgun could be used for home defense, then i would not have any problem with the prohibition of handguns for the public. The N.R.A is afraid that if you can ban some guns, then you can ban all guns. This is something Im not sure about. However it is known that the brady bill does not work. There needs to be another solution.

i do know quit a lot about the subject im just to lazy to write it all but if we would stop selling guns to the puplic there would be less of a reason for people to have guns not to mention the fact that most people get shot by there own weapon...
