Indeed so. But on the bright side, it gives Magus a good balance of stas. He has the highest HIT, and second highest Evade, only to Ayla (Who, quite frankly, has a ton) it's interestng to know that he would be horribly imbalanced if they let you get him early, so starting him off early on was most likely for the best, gameplay wise. I still have fun wrecking havoc with my super magus.

Ayla is a doomhouse at lvl 97. Her fist becomes Bronze Fist. At this point, her critical rate increases and the critical hits cause 9999 damage a whack. No spells for this chick .
