i thought the twelve days of christmas was a kind of celebration back in the olden days, in england. ah well.....

oh, i heard somewhere that garlands come from germanic tribes that decorated trees with the intestines of their enemies-- is there any truth to this? if so, i know a new "interesting discussion topic" for english...whoop whoop whoop (whack-a-mo, to thee i say w00t).

the 12 days of christmas was origionally a code for the repressed christians in the roman empire, each item in each day is supposed to be symbolic for something, but i cannot rember what, the first day is jesus, i know that, and the third is the holy trinity, i think one of the days is the apostles, any help, im not religious, can't remember all of this, but overall i'm not sure on any of this
