Chicken or egg, what came first?

Whats your guys takes on this? I hardly ever come here, so I'm not sure if you've had this before (which you prolly have, over and over, and over) And this is actually ment for real, not just as a joke.

Well, according to the theory of creationism, the chicken would surely have come first. God created all the animals, yadda-yadda, you know the story.

According to other theorys, heerm, not sure. Im not sure what the chicken "evolved" from and not sure how that works.

So, IMO, I believe the chicken came first, as I am Christian.

Something evolved something that was one generation from being a common day chicken, laid and egg and poof a chicken was in the egg. Hatch. Chicken came from egg so egg came first.

The answer depends on religion. If you believe in God and whatnot, you will believe that the chicken came first. If you dont' believe in God, or doubt his existence you would believe in evolution, so therefore the egg would come first.

Assuming you do believe God then animal came before birth. Seeing as how Adam and Eve weren't birthed. Also I look at the world as being recreated, a new world, whenever there was the great flood and the whole Noah's Ark deal. Looking at it from that perspective chicken then egg.

the egg, in my opinion because I am not christian, which may make me abit biast but i beleive the egg came first because two different animals (might not even be a bird might be a chickasauras with arms and a long tail) had sex and here popped this egg which then hatched to be a chicken. . . .thats my opinion

It could be any, I mean evoloution is a VERY slow process and when the egg hatched it could of become what is classified as chicken, but some sort of animal could of undergone the last stage of becoming a chicken.

yA i agree chillaxe but really the egg came first one kind of bird laid and egg and something happened and out came what we know as a chicken glad it did because i LOVE them ummmmm......ummmmm..........good
