[glow=red]Alright today in Russia something happend that might seem insignificant to you, but is actually an event that might change the world. Chechen terrorists took elementary school with 400 kids in it hostage. That is a third attack they made in 2 weeks. For most of you it is probably nothing, but right now, as we speak some strings in the head of all the russians who are watching news or reading a newspaper about that attack, some strings are clicking in their heads. The rage starts to build up. From today and to the end of our great nation, we shall fight and kill terrorists there ever we can. I am personally gonna allow myself to be drafted into the army. They have gone too far, they deserve to die now more then ever. This is probably the first time since WW2 then US and Russia have a common goal. Live no muslims alive, they took our children hostage we shall kill theirs. Eye for an eye.[/glow]

Since I live in Canada, I don't hear much about Russia but i've heard you guys have had a few problems with terrorism lately. Something about two airplanes crashing at the same time?

i read about it. its totally ****ed up. when you stop fighting the government and military and start fighting civilians that cant fight back you are no longer soldiers, no longer fighters for a cause, you are terrorists. and terrorists have no rights.

they should fight the russian government, not the russian people.

Death brings only more death. In the case of Chechnya, Russia is reaping what it sawed - violence and terorrism. And this crisis has little to do with the Muslims, Kzumich. Its all about Russia's policy in Chechnya.

your right obviously. russias attidude doesnt help. not every muslim is the problem as galatia said.

but this does NOT excuse the actions of these terrorists. they have a problem with russias policy towards their country? then fight the russian military. fight a guerilla war. if your going to take hostages take government officials hostage. release the civilians. make it known that your not a terrorist, but your simply fighting for a cause.

taking a school and a few hundrerd people including children isnt the way they should fight.

[glow=red]But the gov't controls the people and uses them as a shield. They can't fight our gov't, what can they do? Start a newspaper? Russian public hates Chechens and it is for a reason, war has been going on for 300 years. I say our policy should not change, we are russians, we never give up. That just means that all the terrorists are gonna have to die.[/glow]

......... first you say they have no other options, thats not true. they could make an attempt to fight the russian military.

but if you say them taking your civilians hostage is justified then why are you angry about it? its not justified, you have the right to be angry, but angry at the terrorists. not muslims.


and the russian government uses the people as a sheild..? isnt that what the russian military is for? if your government doesnt care about its citizens i say its about time to rebel..

[glow=red]I never said that them taking people hostage is justified. And they are trying to fight our military but they always loose, we took Grozney in two days, and we are killing a lot of rebels latly, their military is no much for us. So they hid in the caves and became terrorists.[/glow]

of course their military cant stand up to yours. but the people are determined enough to kill themselves to kill some russian civilians then they have the determination to fight a suicidal guerilla war against your army. or blow themselves up with government buildings. taking civilian hostages will never work... and they need to learn that.

maybe fighting the military will never work either, but its alot more likely to get foriegn support if they fight against the russian government and leave the russian people out of it.


not to mention taking hostages that have nothing to do with your cause is totally ****ed up

not us. i dont think we will get involved. not so much foriegn support as much as not pissing off the russian population so much.

you hear of people taking civilians hostage that cannot fight back and think "those ****ers should be shot."

but you hear of a group of determined people who are fighting a force way stronger than them, and have no chance of winning, yet they still only take government officials and soldiers hostage and release all civilians... i dont think the russian population would hate them so much if they did that.

they should have the respect to fight the people they have a problem with, not every russian they can find.


when you take civilian hostages you lose all justification to whatever your fight is.

[glow=red]We will never have respect for Chechens. Soldiers or not soldiers those people they kill are still Russian. We know their justification, not that we gonna listen to them. We need that land, and we don't care what happens to the people on it. We need it, it is politics, it is beyond human emotion, not that any russian
would have any good emotions towards Chechen rebels. There are some good chechen people, they are citizens of Russia after all. I had a freind once, he was Chechen so was his father, his father was fighting against the rebels in Chechnya, but those who oppose will of my people must be baried.[/glow]

I would glady accept Russia's support and help in the war on terrorism. Not just on terrorists in the middle east, but those anywhere. I hate to say this, but it is sad that it took these attacks to get your country really involved. After what was done to America, it should have been plain to everyone worldwide that something needed to be done against all terrorist organizations. Even so, the United States and others would leap to ally ourselves with you to combat this evil.

I am not talking about just Muslim terrorists (Again, all Muslims are not terrorists and Muslims are not the only terrorists around), but those of any race, religion, background, or ideals. It all needs to be slowed and finally stopped. We as a world cannot procrastinate anymore. It is time to take a stand.

I don't know about my nation joining with US against world terrorism. We are more about solving our own problems and not carrying about the problems of others, but if US helps us, we will probably help them.[/glow]

You have got to understand that terrorism is not one single country's problem. Our fight is the same as your fight. We will be working together even if we are fighting seperate battles, for it really is the same war.

America was the same way. 9/11 wasnt the first terrorist attack on our soil, only the worst. We should have done something before(many decades ago), but it took a disaster to open our eyes, which is sad.
