Can Maphack get ur account/cd key banned? Or can they Blizzard detect it

They detect it if you use it 1 time... One of my acount have been banned, and never played any game with it! (not even custom) If they don't detect maphack in chatroom, they ban all acount that used maphack or not with the same cdkey.

What happens if u try to get back on even though your acc. is banned? Also, will they send u an email now that they have our email addresses?
