Despite what people think she has put a LOT of effort into her career. I know what you mean by "studio magic" the power to improve voices finatically, but almost ALL singers do this so it aint really fair to say she is only good because of "studio magic"

I didn't say she was a bad singer. But she wasn't a particularly good one. And besides, I don't listen to modern music much. I'm more into classic rock and jazz. No distortion and studio magic there, everything is pure goodness.

I agree that she must have put effort into her career. Without effort, she wouldn't have been able to get this far. Yet, still... she's just eye candy. She wouldn't have lasted through the second round in a competition like American Idol.
