I dont see what you done understand. Anything you do in your d2 folder will be purely client side, as in has no effect on the server, which is where your characters are saved. If you delete the file that is logging your games my guess is it will just get recreated once you join a game and start from there (Im not going to test this because I dont give a flying **** and also because nothing useful will result from it).

.ma0s are useless things that blizzard never removed the coding for. They keep information about the map for single player characters, but not realm ones. They don't need to log your join/parts in a file, they have thier servers... which are thier servers which keep logs of everything that we do and say. NOTHING and I repeat NOTHING important is saved client side because of hacking issues. I wish I had a better setup for a zon I'd like try and duel COTA sometime. Too bad he is on east and I'm on west.
