Are you just saying that to cause controversy? Trllian is practical, looks good, doesn't cause any problems, its actually great.

I used to use it, years ago. It was sluggish and had a terrible interface. Needless to say, it looked like **** and ran like ****.

I guess they improved it quite a lot, because now its great.

No, it's still the equally ****ty Trillian.

It's just that Trillian itself-- with all it's ****iness -- is infinitly times better than running AIM/MSN/ICQ/Yahoo! all at the same time.

Theres others that do all that too, but I already have my Trillian set up, so **** them.

If you used something else similar to it (theres like a million of them out there now), theres a few that are significantly easier/better than Trillian.

It's like saying you don't get what's wrong with aim. Technically there isn't much wrong with AIM, but compared to Trillian it's no contest.

I guess, I don't know. Like I said, I only use Trillian or AIM on my laptops, since I have Trillian configured already for 5 different messengers. I'd rather not go through a new system and learn it all over again (the little things that most people don't notice change a lot from program to program) / rename everyone so on and so forth so I deal with Trillian knowing that it's not the most stable thing there is, and it's got some lag issues
