1 in FO + requirements
20 in meteor
20 in fball
20 in fire mastery
15 warmth
...from there I'm not too sure...is it damage per second that you want from fire, if so I would say go w/ inferno..(haven't made a sorc yet) ..and are the armors still useful..if so what's best (cold) armor?
I guess w/o engima you would need teleport also...SO MANY FIRE SYNERGIES ...SO LITTLE POINTS lol
warmth is pretty much unnecessary now. In 1.09 I used to need an a$$ of mana in order to wall cast. But my Lvl 86 Meteor/Ball/Orb sorc has only 410 mana and neither skill drains her mana quickly. It also depends on the type of items you're going to have. If you are gonna be a fire sorc, I would suggest something like this:
20fireball/20meteor/20 fire mastery/20 ass. skill (I would suggest a stand alone skill of another element because I fire sorc owns until hell...then it's hell :-/ )/1 tele/1 static and as for the other skill points? you can move to maxx fire bolt, or use them on the other element's synergies.
best items for a fire sorc are tal's items and unique eldritch orb (I forget it's name)
MizTri-II (Bolt+Meteor/Frozen Orb)
Smoke RuneWord Armor (until I find Tal's armor, it gives +40 to resistances)
Shako (ptopaz)
+2 fire skills magic ammy
unique eldritch orb + rhyme troll nest (for mfing)/radament's sphere
wizardspike+the ward gothic shield (laugh if you want, but combined I can handle up to 5 burning souls attacking me at one timme)
tal's belt (I haven't quite found a belt I'm content with yet)
magefist gauntlets
infrernostride boots
though all of that is pretty much low end, she can hang with the baddest chars on BNet...not to mention having 4k dmg on my right click and 10k on my left click with maxxed resistances
Oh yea, Tal's Items (mask/orb/belt) will give -15% to enemie's fire resistance - that doesn't work on immunes but anyone else it owns
If you decide to use inferno, I'd suggest you have a lot of defense points and life points, because melee monsters don't treat spell sorc's very well
