Best Sorc?

Anyway im thinking of doing a new sorc and I was just wondering if the sorc guide in the sticky still are the best?

If not plz tell me which is

It all depends... if you want a mf sorc i believe the one in the sticky would be very good. There are many opportunities, you can make a sorceress with one two or three elements, though if you make a trielemental you won't have very strong skills. You will have the strongest skills if you play only one element (that's very good when mephing) but it's only good if you play in a party or perhaps pvp. I can't give you stats or skills since I am no "sorceress master" nor especially good at sorceress builds.

Fire sorc is best for:
LVLING
PVP
MF

Fireball with good control pwns in pvp
Fire ball + meteor pwns meph and pindle
Fireball and meteor pwns hell baal and his minions

Learning orb helps too.

basically...yes.

my meph sorc looks like this:

Max Orb
Max Ice Bolt
Max Thunder Storm
Max Mastery
5 Cold mastery
5 Static
1 Frozen Armor
1 Teleport
1 Mana Shield
1 Warmth
1 all prerequisits

104 total skill points with quests completed

558-585 damage with orb

again nothing special but works extremly well for my play style.

works only for meph, but fire sorc works for meph, pvp, and lvling.. fireball does 7k and meteor does about 16k on mine.

Only thing about Meteor I don't like is the fact it has a cast and summon delay. Good luck using meteor if u don't have a great merc. Ontop off all that, fire seems to be the most immune element in the game. I with no mf gear on I can hell rush solo with my sorc and her merc. Cold skill GC with life own all day and all night.

This gives me +21 skills over 1k mana and 1.5k life without CtA bo's. 1k orb damage with 145 percent Cold Mastery. :-D

I love the sorc they are very stong with any element and fire seems to be the brute of the three specially in the damage department. Its leveling the things to lvl 30 on a fresh ladder that sucks

Im trying a blizzard sorc.. i dont like fire sorces. Anyhow, I dont really think that there is a best sorceress... its all personal taste.

agree with above, I to do not like fire sorc that much. I prefer cold sorcs and lit sorcs (espacially cold) but it's all about your personal taste

yea well, go to kao's cold sorc build, i hear his sorc's one shard of FO does 1k dmg with items.. u gotta be rich tho i personally like fire ball and meteor... so,

well my friend who made this thread is indeed not rich... so I think he will have GREAT troubles getting as many facets as you had.

i think the old sorcie works well but my enhanced classic sorc looks like this, and i think it is the best
1 warmth
1 static
20 ts
20 thunder mastery
20 ice bolt
20 frozen orb
15-20 ice master
if you put 15 in cold mastery, you could put one into energy shield

this is for level 99.... lol
tele it is assumed taht you have enigma. so no tele
and besides i cant find out whats so good about energy shield.

Okay everyone's saying that meteor and fball ownz now (everything but fire immunes of course). I wanted to make a fire sorc, but someone told me i need a backup just in case?? So I was thinking,
1 in FO + requirements
20 in meteor
20 in fball
20 in fire mastery
15 warmth

...from there I'm not too sure...is it damage per second that you want from fire, if so I would say go w/ inferno..(haven't made a sorc yet) ..and are the armors still useful..if so what's best (cold) armor?
I guess w/o engima you would need teleport also...SO MANY FIRE SYNERGIES ...SO LITTLE POINTS lol

i prefer fire sorc with meteor and fireball/synergies and get frozen orb spell just incase you need to kill fire immune, also depends on ur gear

i preform decently hell meph and hell andy with out energy shield...

and besides in duels, im like thinking if you are hit by the damn barb and his some XXXXk damage, isn't energy shield pointless?
