Best MF % for PindleBot?

Ist'd occulus, Um'd ss. Ptopaz Shako, Ptopazed Skulders, Perfect Mara, 2*occy Rings , Perfect Wartravlers, Perfect Chance's And Thunder-gods Belt (for Max % lightening and absorb...), 2 +4 resist SC's, 7%mfsc........ Should get better stats then that... but sometimes right before i kill pindle it pops up with D2 Error, and closes d2 although... i didnt lose anyt health..... still trying to figure that one out... maybe if i set my Chicken life to 0 it wont do it

What type of sorc are you?

If you're Orb/Static/TS/Nova, go to the JED site and get the OrbScript.js, Its really good.

well if you don't have a lot of mf, you can always do cow runs...
you can just steal the items that dropped from the cows you didn't kill... my zon had 0 mf, and i found plenty of nice uniques in cow runs... =D

try dropping the skulders for a PT tals armor, tals ammy, and tals belt. you'll find you have just as much mf and alot better resists.

I was thinking about it.... But i have a um'd ss it brings 35% dr and quite a bit of resists... i almost have perfect resists... so i cant put on my um'd ss without tgods and my maras adding Str requirement... Of course if i were to find a -15/15% all resist SS then that might be a possibility..... still deciding one what i want to do... but i've been finding just dandy stuff if u read up farther on my findings..... so I dont know if I wanna change it..... Strength sucks for sorcs

oh and by the way u have more Mf with partial Tals Set 194% instead of 148% with skulders alone... But perfect maras is 30% resist all and um'd ss is +42% to Lightning Resist +82% to Cold Resist +22% to all over plus the 35% DR. Also tgods belt adds 10% maximum lightening resist for le pindles being able to get 85% ligthening which is what i have..... but that is choice of what who wants to use what... Not sure yet

i honestly say 450 range of mf is the golden number..dont waste your sojs on highly mf shit...thats only if your doing baal...then mf counts good trust me..for some reason if you kill baal with lots of mf...you get really good shit but if you kill super uniques it doesnt work that way

my sorc has a base str of 145. add 10 from war travs and now you have 155. add 2 from shako. now you have 157. 1 more str than you need for stormshield.

you lose 30 resist all from mara's. but you gain 33% lightning resist from tals ammy. and 40% fire/cold/lightning resist from tals armor.

also when you have the armor/amulet/belt on you get a 65%mf bonus.

with my setup you will have max cold/lightning resist. fire will be around 33% and poisen is like -33%. but all she is used for are pindle runs. and fire nore poisen ever pose a danger to her from pindle. lightning is the only thing that does any real dmg.

i'll agree that the chance to find a unique after 400/450% is nill-none untill you get around 1000%mf, and even then its not much. but i dont know about it being a "golden" number. refer to earlier in this thread. i already proved their is no "golden" number. more is always better.

and if you have to chose between Tgods/skulders/mara's and tals ammy/armor/belt.

granted tgods has 20% lightning absorb. but honestly. 75% is plenty. you will never die especially if you have a good merc with you.

besides that. PT skullders at around lvl 90 (which is where most ppl top out at) is only 136%mf. PT tals is 112%, tag that along with the bonus of 65%, and the belt 15%. you get 192%mf.

as far as resists go for the 2 setups. besides the 20% lightning absorb which you really dont need anyhow. tals will give you 73% lightning resist, 40% fire/cold. the latter will only give you 30% resist all with a perfect mara's.

also with your setup i would never have max lightnign resist. cause i dont use hacked items like occy rings.

.. i've edited my snagit to only pick up good stuff. but compare them, i've been running mephbot for 2 days and a lot of good drops there (i only included some) while i've been running pindle for 3 weeks without finding much loot. try mephbot.. (hey, he cant drop a wf but who gives a f*? i'll just trade 3 tons of good stuff found on one night for a wf which some1 else botted 4 weeks for.)

ok, i know this might sound weird to u, but meph drops ALOT but after a while (i botted him for a LONG time) u got tired of it!
too many shafts shakos occy and selling them is a drag!
get enough shit for a couple of sorcies, then move to pindle.
better to bot 10 days of pindle and find wf+++, then to find LOTS of crap on meph.

Meph=Quanitity
Pindle=Quality
btw, regarding all these magic numbers

You have a point but check it out. With pidle i've gotten a few good items on 3 weeks, and with meph i got all that stuff on 12 hrs. So if i want a wf i'll just offer a lot of stuff (on europe you get a WF for 2 shakos.)
