heith ledger death was a disaster. he was more popular. i wanna see a cgi heith ledger joker in batman 3.
even if he was alive he will probably be in as a cameo like scarecrow. joker doesn't need to used again in 3

famous ppl are dieing every day this year

^ how sure are you of that. im thinking that now heiht is dead, they just better kill the joker at the first 10 minutes of the next batman film. a cgi head shot cgi of heiht joker would work if they plan to kill him i the movie right away.

i disagree, if heith is still alive now, it be a batman vs joker round 2 in the next batma film well ofcourse another villain will be introduced.

No. first off that is extremely tacky to do that.

HEATH and another movie with the joker is redundant, everything that was the Joker was already used for the dark knight.

but apparently the joker was still alive when the movie ended, so what will happen to him in the next movie? just a cameo like inside his prison cell. i can't imagine another guy would play the joker other than heith even its just a short clip.

they should just pay tribute and honor to heith portrayal of the joker by making him the last joker for the next 20 years. anyway like i suggeted if its just a cameo, they can just make a cgi version of heiht's joker. It will be realistic since the next batman will not be out till another 4 years and cgi will be more better by then.

Joker's voice, sure. But not Joker. I don't care about him anymore. Bring on the Penguin, and maybe fit Bane in there.

Penguin will never hit the screen if with Nolan and/or Bale in the movie, both have stated so. Same with Robin.

^ why? the penguin for this new batman movie doesn't really need to have that complete penguin look or like a half man/half penguin. even mr. freeze could be in this new batman movie franchise but in a more realistic manner.

i agree about robin tho.

I thought the 3rd Batman movie was originally going to be the Joker again and that the second movie was just a filler for the inbetween space. Either way he was good in Batman but I didnt like him more than I did Bernie Mac or Isaac Hayes. Bernie Mac was even my next choice up for the Joker.

Heath Ledger's death was tragic considering his age, but it's the most overblown celebrity death this year. Truth be told, Bernie Mac and especially Isaac Hayes were far, far more influential and iconic.

And this thread isn't to conjecture about the next Batman movie. It's to discuss/pay a little respect to two seriously amazing black entertainers who shouldn't have left us this soon. I'm a little appalled that this thread has fallen to "lol wut shuld b in nxt batman movie?"

No. Heath ledgers death was "tragic" because he was so young, and was an amazing actor.

Bernie Mac was painfully unfunny, and Isaac Hayes probably has his soul with Xenu in space with L.Ron Hubbard.

Congratz, people die. Get over it.

C'mon. He was a great Joker, but in my book it takes a lot more than one movie to solidify you as an 'amazing' actor. Nothing else he did was any good or required him to act as anything other than an Australian hunk - himself. It was a tragedy that he died, but his death was overblown.

I dunno, but it's happening all over and not just in the celebrity circles. Back in high school, my girlfriend at the time's father came down with it and died "just like that." I mean seriously, in the matter of a couple of days a big, healthy bear of a man was just gone. I never even knew he was sick before I was told he'd died.

Sucks.

But yeah, the Heath Ledger thing was just blown to Hell because:

A) He was young, seriously young.
B) He had a huge upcoming role in a highly-anticipated movie.
C) It involved a potential drug scandal.

More than anything, because of C. Hollywood loves a tragic story of a promising young actor's life going to Hell because of drugs. It was a shock because of his age, and talk of drugs just made it go crazy.

These guys who just recently died didn't have any scandal and were much older than him, so they got a nice little Yahoo obituary and that'll be the end of that...in spite of the fact that they were far greater in their respective fields than Heath ever was in his. It's sad.
