Think of important events and people during President Bush's near eight-year tenure for a moment..

Iraq, Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden

Does anyone else have a hard time swallowing this as a coincidence?

Eh? Yes, its true, Bin Laden made a time machine and went back in time to impregnate Obama's mother, he gave his son the name Barack Hussein Obama and fused his own mind with the newborn with his Mind-Link machine. It makes sense, its science!

It's a horribly unfortunate coincidence. On the other hand, if he changed his name to prevent this, no doubt the press would have picked this up and torn him apart irregardless.*

All islamic names look alike. There's a reason why Muhammad is the most common name in the world!

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that "Hussein" and its various other Romanised spellings mean "handsome" or "good" in Arabic. "Osama" apparently means "lion" and "Barack" means "blessed".

So Mr. Obama is apparently a blessed, good lion.

P.S. Arabic names don't usually look alike - their Romanisations can look similar ("Hussein" vs. "Husayn", etc.). Unlike English, where Steven, Stephen, Steve, Steffan, and so on, are different names but look and sound similar.*

Obama basically screwed himself when he said he would rather travel to see europeans rather than go see our troops. Is this guy even more of an idiot than bush!?

hah Europeans are not bad imo but still it was a bad move on his part. You have to win the American votes not Europeans to be elected President of USA.

In the time of globalization it's good to be in everyones good graces. It's not like he only has a nation looking at him, the whole world hangs in his balance if he's elected president.

That doesn't change the fact that he received wide reaching criticism for not seeing the troops; he might be viewed better by the world, however it's a useless gesture if he isn't first elected by the American people.

It's a good idea if he wants to win the 0.1% of Americans abroad or something.

But any work he does in the United States is going to be much more worth it.

The good news for Obama is that McCain isn't capitalising on this at all.

Don't get me wrong - I think it's awesome that Obama went to Germany. I just don't think that speaking English to a predominantly German crowd makes sense.*

I think he is a really good public speaker and is very empowering. McCain is just a little too weak sounding for me.

McCain just reads what Bush's speechwriter tells him to read. Obama writes his speeches.

Obama > McCain.
