Haven't you seen any of the trailers?! It's obvious the Pred's loose, remember seeing that big ass blue exposion coming from the temple after all the aliens start climbing up it? The Preds get out numbered, so one nukes himself. End of Game.

1) The predators arn't cowards. The whole reason they go down to earth to battle the Aliens is as a right of passage into manhood. In the books there are 9 of them that go down (Goes along with the storyline of the first 2 predator movies, 1 dies in the first, 1 dies in the second, and at the end of that second it shows 7) to battle Aliens as their right of passage. It's an ongoing war from since the begining of existance between the two species. The predators can be outnumbed 1000/1 and still win, because it's in their blood to fight until death, and if they are ever beaten, to destroy themselves rather than die by the hand of their enemy. Kinda like Samurai.

No, but why should that matter? And it's not a nuke, it's a self sustained plasma grenade...BTW; I think that was the opening scene of the movie.

yeah, either the opening scenes or maybe the archeologist teams find some tomb that tells about it. i wonder if the predators team up with the humans...and why is the theme, whoever wins we lose?

Because they want you to believe that it's some ongoing war on earth, when it's really not. The predators don't team up with the human persae, but they use them as bait to lure the aliens into doing stupid things (IE the sacrifical chamber unleashing all the eggs, which destroys a whole generation of the aliens.

It's all in the books, I suggest you read them, it's good shit.
