Not red, it doesn't stand out as much as gold on this gray background, so it mitigates the significance of mod-ship and elevates the ancient members.

I was an elder before because Eric destaffed me over a personal conflict. But before that, I was mod of AS since like...a couple months after its creation, and then staff of the general forums when Galatia quit, and then general manager which was basically one step below an admin. And then when everyone on the forum realized Eric was a douchebag, and I tried to make him stop being a douchebag he destaffed me and made me an elder instead of an ancient because he said that ancients had to be "approved by an admin" even though I met all the other requirements.

This forum has a sordid history man.

Not to say I have anything against you being elder, though. Just not entirely sure you were removed because Eric hated you :O
