Alright, after all this, I figure that you guys deserve an explanation from me as to what's been happening lately.
As you people might have noticed already, there have been major changes in the staff line up for the D2 forums; possibly the root of the problem. There were reasons behind it which I wouldn't go into in this post, but in the announcement that will be going up in that forum. But the thing that wasn't made clear was the logic behind these changes.
What had also happened was during the past week, people were accusing me of making decisions based on personal intentions; something which were never part of my reasonings. Had things really been that personal, I would have accepted it. However, before the chance for me to explain that every part of the action was based on hard evidence in conjunction with agreements between Crookedfoot, Swooper and myself was given, the flames went on.
What really ticked off was the fact that people were jumping to conclusions and pointing before hearing the other sides of the story. Given the forum matters, members *demanding* (not asking) to get things changed and the case of having not as much time to go online last week, the pushiness has gone too far.
All forms of respect were lost there and then. People were expecting me to be a genie: to grant whatever forum wish they had. Yes, I might have the ability to make changes, but it doesn't mean using it whenever I want to: that's the point you should all understand. This applies to Crookedfoot and Swooper as well. It doesn't mean being pushy and demanding with them either. Treat them with respect, because *we* are just as human as *you* are: limits to tolerating with our patience.
However, after taking the weekend off and having a talk to a few people (you know who you are
), things have thankfully worked out by themselves. A few who have accused me have realized that it was all a misunderstanding.
I don't believe in holding grudges, neither am I planning on leaving the forums yet. As to what goes on, things will speak for themselves eventually.
And thank you Avalon for closing this thread.
