Yeah, but you gotta think about it logically. If there are aliens out there that do visit earth, think of how advanced their technology is compared to ours. I mean, we take forever just to get guys on the moon, let alone not being able to get guys on Mars. Now think of how much better our tech is gonna be when we're shopping out of our solar system/galaxy.

Can I believe the possibility of an alien presence on Earth? Sure.

Would the government do their damnedest to keep it under wraps to avoid a global panic and catastrophe, even if the aliens were benign? Probably.

Is it plausible that the incredibly widely-accepted concept of the aliens' appearance, as perpetuated and made common by Hollywood, could have some base in reality and those rare, generally-discredited "eyewitness accounts" from people who've supposedly had sightings? I don't see why not.

Is this guy a crackpot and this whole story probably a steaming load? I'm thinking...yep.
