my opinion on the game:


I first saw AOC not expecting to like it (i wasnt much for another MMO ever since my bud forced me to get WoW, hate it.) but it has its ups and downs.

First off, the install: its a big game, high end graphics, and yada yada, if your really complaining about HDD space, then dont bother buying games. Games are software, software is ment to install onto a hard drive. deal with it, this is something that means absolutely nothin to me (and everyones always bragging how they have so much HDD space, so i doubt many care)

second: graphics: Ive seen them on both high and low settings, high end settings makes me drool (and not just when the girls take off there tops), low end settings, well...there still good, but high > all

Third: Gameplay: the storyline is up to par with wow (crap. and im not talking the "Backstory of wow" im talkin gabout what you actually get out of playing the game.) some douche tells you to go kill these douches and in turn gives you some douche reward. then he tells you to go do it again. and again. and again.*
*i could be wrong about this, i didnt play much questing, but from what i got, it was just like that

Fourth: the reaces. I've always been more of a fan of NO gnomes and elfs (as many of you probably know) and im happy with the just humans thing, granted, a few more classes woudl be awesome, i think they did a fine job at building this setup. You dont get to be a 2ft bearded **** witha stub for a *****, ohh teh noes.

and fifth: Age of Conan gets extra points for showing girls boobies. im sure 14 year olds were fapping it all over the US on release day of this game.

This isn't a WoW VS AoC thread. This thread is (supposed) to be about AoC. Where have I madeup anything in this thread? You know, things that matter -- not what your kids name is or any of that nonsense -- I've yet to makeup one thingin this thread. Unlike you, who seems to know everything about AoC and seems to know everything about everyone.

I still think AoC's 1-20 is infinitly times better than WoWs 1-20. Well, the first time or two through. Theres 4 different quest paths sorta, but they all end up doing the same couple of quests.

Still a good experience. If a company would make an MMO that did this -- only better, where you could take your 'destiny' quests as basically the only things you do to get from 1-max level if you wanted -- and kept the pacing similar to the 1-20 of AoC, I think it would be hard to stop it from ripping any MMO apart.

Herald of xolti is probably the coolest class in conan. You can get a skill that lets you occasionally rip the heart out of an enemy...awesome.
