((BF was down, for me at least, since 6:45
PM EST -_-; ))
"Yeah. It's safe from creeps like Tristan. We just have to get you out of this habit of calling neo-Humans 'two-legs'." Kimbay has a sad smile on her face as she contemplates exactly what to say to Eagle. "They are our brethren. We're
all Terrans." She tries to put up a strong face, but she's finding it hard thinking of creeps, even if they do number less than a few hundred in a population of billions, like Tristan. "If you come with me to the college I'm visiting, I can show you how you should have really been treated."
As Kimbay is talking, a Colonel, neo-Human by the looks of him, approaches. He stops a few feet behind her as if he is about to address her in the most formal of manner. He has a quick glance around, but he does not look down on a single C-H. Several are already being carefully taken to transports bound for rehabilitation centers. When he spies Eagle, he looks more sorrowful that such a thing happened than anything else. Then he takes a breath and clears his throat. "Hackson, ma'am. The Tancrabadon representatives are expecting you to keep your appointment in Pennsylvania."
Kimbay nods as she looks over her shoulder to the Colonel. "I'm definately heading to New Pitsburg, but I may have a guest coming along." With a smirk, she turns back to Eagle. "If you'll come, I'm sure you'll come to understand 'rehabilitation'." Heaving a sigh, she only has one thought.
It might be an interesting diversion from hunting terrorists like Crysan...

Taslon and Marie are walking towards the campus. They're due in the library in about ten minutes for whatever it is the Galactic Council representative is here to speak about. They have no idea what it's about, but visits from such representatives isn't too terribly uncommon. Marie, however, is transfixed on the new object Taslon has. For the life of her, the only thing she can possibly describe it as is...the hilt of a sword, absent a blade, folded in on itself.
